Borax should be added in multiple portions. The melting point of silver is 960°C,When the silver in the crucible is heated to a high temperature above 960°C, the silver begins to melt. The melted silver is made into silver flakes for later use.

Press the silver flakes

Flatten the melted silver material with a hammer and put it into tablet press machine for tableting. The tableting process should be repeated, and thinner time by time, Finally, the silver material is pressed into a silver flakes with a thickness of about 2mm, and then cut the silver flakes into width of 1cm rectangle.

Annealing

Then, we need use silver wire, which is made by drawing silver bars to make some decoration for this ring.

Wire Drawing
